Vision:
To transform Women’s Health care by integrating comprehensive, culturally sensitive support systems that address the holistic health and wellbeing of Women through all stages of motherhood, from preconception to extended postpartum.
Mission:
To provide a platform for education, collaboration, advocacy and innovation in Mothercare, bringing together practitioners from diverse fields to enhance knowledge, share best practices, and improve outcomes for Women.
Philosophy:
The Well Supported Mothers Collective exists to ask, what care could look like if mothers were truly centred, at every stage of their journey. In response to persistent gaps in conventional systems, we explore how meaningful, sustainable change can support maternal wellbeing as the foundation for personal, familial, and intergenerational health.
Leadership
Ellie Lea Gujas was a founding team member of the Well Supported Mothers Collective from its establishment in 2022, serving as Managing Director from 2025 to 2026. In this role she provided organisational strategy, community engagement, and service delivery leadership for the collective's interdisciplinary network of practitioners and educators dedicated to mother-centred care.
Under her direction, the collective delivered CPD-accredited online education and national professional development conferences, including the Postpartum Conference in 2024 and 2025, which featured a curated cross-cultural exhibition and a fully subscribed expo program supported by multiple significant sponsors.
Ellie led the collective's international advocacy engagement, co-authoring the Call to Action: "Postpartum – A Critical Window in Women's Health" alongside the Postnatal Support Network (EU), the European Doula Network, and Geboortenis Zutphen (Netherlands), arising from the international Postnatal rEvolution Summit, extending the collective's education and advocacy reach to a global audience.
